FEdS is a small, specialist consultancy that works as a catalyst to bring greater understanding between the worlds of business, education and the Government.

FEdS' aim is to promote well-informed debate that will help to improve the provision of education and skills in the UK. It provides a neutral space where senior, experienced people in business, education and government can think creatively and work collaboratively.

Since its establishment in July 1996, FEds Consultancy has created a niche position that is not replicated in any other organisation.

She has been working as Head of Stakeholder Relations with the UK Commission for Employment and Skills since it was launched in April 2008 and before that she was Head of PR with the Sector Skills Development Agency for a year.

Rachael said: “I am proud and delighted to be FEdS’ new chief executive. It will be a privilege to continue his work and to help steer FEdS towards further growth and success, particularly at a time when its work to connect people who matter with issues that matter in the fields of business, education and government has never been so important.”
