Our vision is to provide a stimulating forum in which people can think creatively and work collaboratively on issues of learning and skills development that need business, education and government to join forces and work together.
All our work at FEdS is governed by six principles:
- we are concerned with the development of learning and skills for every individual
- our perspective is over a lifetime of individual development
- we work collaboratively with business, government and education
- our interests span the UK
- FEdS is apolitical. We act as catalyst, stimulating people’s thinking in a supportive and neutral forum and by providing an agenda for critical debate, new ideas and solutions
- FEdS is part of the Prospects Group but works independently on areas important to the vision and mission of both organisations. We do not receive grants or sponsorship funding, although some of our events and programmes are sponsored
