Angela is a freelance specialist in enterprise in education, providing project management, research and evaluation, strategy and development planning, and writing/editing expertise. Since March 2008 Angela has also been helping to develop FEdS in Scotland, including writing Scottish monthly briefings and papers for Business Forum members and supporting the Goodison Group in Scotland. She has a background in industry – five years as a research technologist for BP, five years responsible for managing and coordinating BP’s educational affairs in Scotland. Since establishing AJ Enterprises in 1994, Angela has worked for clients from a range of organisations, including the Scottish Government, HM Inspectorate of Education, Learning and Teaching Scotland, Careers Scotland, the Scottish Qualifications Authority, the Prince’s Trust and WWF. She has been involved in a variety of multi-disciplinary projects, both in management and operational roles, and played a key role in many national developments, including those associated with Determined to Succeed. She has a wide network of key contacts in education in Scotland, built on experience and trust.
